OperationStep

class geodetic_engine.geodesy.OperationStep[source]

Bases: object

One substantive coordinate operation within a candidate.

A step is a datum transformation in its own right, not the axis-order bookkeeping PROJ inserts around them. A candidate has more than one whenever PROJ had to chain operations to span the pair, which a bound CRS on either side reliably causes: the bound CRS contributes its own datum transformation to the hub, and a second one carries on from there.

auth_name

Authority of this step, for example "EPSG". PROJ’s INVERSE(...) wrapper is stripped: a step applied in reverse is still the same registered operation.

code

Code of this step within that authority.

name

Name of this step, as PROJ reports it, including any "Inverse of" prefix.

method_name

Name of the operation method this step applies.

property authority_code: str | None

"AUTH:CODE" of this step, or None if PROJ gave it no id.

property reference: str

This step as an operation reference; its code, or else its name.
