IMEX_PRESSURE_CORRECTION
IMEX (Implicit-Explicit) pressure correction method. Treats transport (advection) explicitly and the pressure wave equation implicitly, removing the acoustic CFL constraint. Allows time steps 10-100x larger than fully explicit schemes for long pipelines. Based on the pressure-correction approach of Harlow and Amsden (1971) adapted for two-fluid models.
